HR Beyond Admin: Driving Profit Through Employee Engagement

The outdated view of HR as merely an administrative function persists, and the important issues HR works on are not given the space they need to create real business value. Or are they? 🤔

Yesterday, I came across a study by Brilliant Future AB based on data from employee surveys in their database and financial key figures from Bisnode. The study demonstrates the impact of employee-related issues on a company’s profitability 📈.

The study shows a clear link to higher returns if:

✅ The company has a strong leadership team that instills confidence in the organization ✅ Employees feel they are given opportunities to develop ✅ Stress levels are low, and a good organizational and social work environment is maintained ✅ There are loyal employees and internal ambassadors within the company

Hard metrics are not disconnected from the issues driven by an HR/People organization. This is not really news; similar studies have been conducted before, pointing to the connection between employee experience and profitability.

How does it look in your organizations? Are these issues being pushed to the top in your company?
